9th Workshop on Statistics, Mathematics and Computation

Following the success of the previous editions, the organizers of the Workshop on Statistics, Mathematics and Computation have a great pleasure in inviting you to participate in the 9th edition of these meetings. The purpose of the WSMC9 is to continue to provide a platform to share knowledge, considering theory and applications, as well as presenting new methodologies and issues in the broad areas of Statistics, Mathematics and Computation.

 

The use of recent advances in different fields will be promoted and challenges of new computational resources for statistical analysis, experimental statistics, risk analysis and risk assessment will be discussed. Particular attention will be given to applications in fields of medicine, biology, biotechnology, environment sciences, education sciences, finance, insurance, management and human resources.

 

The format of the Workshop will involve plenary talks, organized sessions, sessions with contributed talks and posters, aiming for a forum with interesting discussions and debates, and fostering further connections between international researchers in their professional and academic activities. Submissions are welcome from academics, students and practitioners.
